Amen to that. And where do they get their sense of entitlement?

My daughter (21) and her friends are the lazyiest generation of kids I have ever met. They don't want to work too hard, or acheive to much, they just want to get by.

BUT they think we (mom and dad) should help them to live a lifestyle that includes internet access and cell phones and cars with air conditioning.

Heck when I was her age I didn't even own a car. I worked my way through college eating ramen. I would have died before I asked my mom for help paying my bills.

How did I raise such a self absorbed child?
