...and I must say Lisa's is impeccable. Why? She thinks I am "excellent" and gave me an award to prove it yesterday! Yesterday was an interesting day for me and the lovely things she said about me couldn't have come at a better time. Thank you so much!
It is my understanding that I am now to bequeath this award the 10 blogs I think are excellent.
I know that she has already received this award in order to pass it on to me and others, but I happen to think Lisa and her blog take90west are also very excellent. Hey, you can win more than one Grammy, why not more than one E is for Excellent. So my friend here is a little more "bling" for your bloggy mantel.
Next, I will pass this on to Jenny from Chicago at Chased by Children. Lisa gave this award to her as well, so she is now a multiple winner, but when you're good, you're good. She is articulate, funny, smart, and I am lucky to call her my friend. Not to mention the fact that if I don't give it to her she will probably write an entire post on the fact that I didn't. Who needs that?! Who loves ya baby? It's me.
My next choice will probably seem a little unorthodox, but I am awarding it to Dragon Lady. She doesn't have a blog, but her comments are ALWAYS "E for Excellent", and her friendship can't be beat. Plus Jenny and I want her to start a blog, and this way she has an award before she even gets started. Also, she will no longer be the Dragon Lady after this weekend as she is giving away her (actually her son's, but we all know how that goes) Bearded Dragon so I figure she could use a little extra love.
This "E for Excellent" goes to Dixie Chick. I love her style and sass, AND she adores "Dancing with the Stars" as much as I do, what's not to love! You will should check her out, I promise she will make you smile when you do!
Lynette get over here and claim your award. You are truly excellent and very funny. You simply must check out the picture of the "Tacky Sweater" get together she hosted for her mommy's group the other day. Very clever and looks like it was so much fun.
When I grow up I would like to be chilihead. She is exceptionally funny, a total rock star in the blogosphere AND she understands the technical stuff of what we are doing here in cyberspace. This is her main blog, but be sure to check one of her other endeavors, Blogging Basics 101 for easy to understand answers ,to dare I say, all your blogging questions.
Next up? Fannie Mae at This Isn't What I Ordered, "some people see the glass as half empty, some see it as half full. I just want to know who the HELL drank my wine" . First of all, the title and subtitle alone should be all the proof you need that she is, in fact, excellent. However, when you visit her, you will be equally impressed with her irreverent humor and colorful (in a good way) language.
A mom to three, a college student (yes, she is doing something for herself!), and a blogger Tired Mama is excellent and then some. Although she lives in Canada, which may actually be more of the frozen north than even I inhabit, I feel that we are friends across the miles. Thanks for the smiles you give me!
Pregnant with twins, mom to Racecar, and Ariel (go wish her a happy birthday today), dealing with health issues, and maintaining a smile through it all, Beth at I Should be Folding Laundry (shouldn't we all?!), absolutely deserves the "E is for Excellent" award. I first "met" Beth as she was training for a 5K charity run that she was not only running in but organizing. While that is truly a noble cause it was her love of queso that really got me. When I heard her wax poetic about queso I knew I had found a true soul mate.
Last, but certainly not least, and also not really last 'cause there are more that I love and read out there, but rules are rules and I am only supposed to pick ten. So my last "E is for Excellent" goes to...Keli at Counterfeit Humans. She chronicles her encounters with the "stupers" (people that may not be quite as smart as others) and her encounters are not only hilarious, but make each of her readers feel just a little bit better about themselves after reading her stories. In other words, if you feel like you have done something monumentally stupid, go to Keli's blog she is certain to have found someone who has done something even sillier!

Thanks for the love! Maybe someday I will be brave enough to dive into the blog-o-sphere. Until then, I will now just be Chi Chi since I gave the bearded dragon up for adoption today. I AM FREE!!! It was a bitter sweet parting of ways. But, she was well and ready to find a family who will love her as she continues to grow. Keep up your excellent posts...ALWAYS!!! Love ya.
