As you may remember last year during Spring Break, we had a lovely little surprise from the snow plow. Yes, I did just mention Spring Break and snow plow in the same sentence. It should be illegal, I agree, and I am VERY hopeful that I will not be able to do it again this year. Anyway the lovely surprise came in the form of our mailbox being, what can only be described as, blasted into smithereens. See evidence below.
This year I am happy to report our new mailbox is still standing tall and proud...knock on wood! The same cannot be said for our basketball hoop, however. Yep, the snow plow has struck again, and this time I am afraid our basketball hoop has seen its last, lay up, free throw, 3 pointer, one on one game, and game of H-O-R-S-E. See Evidence below.
At this rate I shudder to contemplate what next year's victim might be.
Holy Crap! Keep your kids away from the curbs is all I'm sayin'!

well - this is yet another reason snow is a pain in my frozen bottom.
(and not to be morbid or anything, but growing up I had a dog that met it's maker via city snowplow truck)
thankfully - nothing that was hit at your place had a pulse.

Perhaps you can gain the upper hand by now removing all outdoor vertical objects that could possibly be affected. I wonder if that would include a chimney? (;

Yikes! I wonder if the snowplow dude even realized what had happened or if he just kept plowing.

I finally understand why my mother would never let us play in the snow by the curb!!!
I'm assuming the city reimburses you!!!???!!

Well, we've had a colder than normal for longer than normal winter this year, but we haven't had snow! Guess I'll count my blessings!
